Coupling factor(C) :

• The coupling factor of a directional coupler is defined as the ratio of the incident power ‘pi’ to the forward power ‘pi’ measured in DB.                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Coupling factor(dB) = 10log10 Pi/Pf                                                                                      
• The coupling factor is a measure of how much of the incident power is being sampled.
